Petite Seats

I've been on a bit of a decorating binge in my and Shay's amazing little cottage from LAQ :) I wanted to pass these little gems on to my petites fans so here are a few!

First... I LOOOVE music!  So I asked Shay to make me a lil mesh guitar and set about to making a stool for my performances ;).  I added animations including 4 sits (1 is more of a lean) and then a flute animation and guitar animation.... the result... the uber cute Musicians Stool.

I made two versions, one if a rough hewn natural wood and the other is a beat up white washed stool for our cottage :)

 

The Musicians stool in natural rough hewn wood includes 6 anims: 1 lean, 3 sits, 1 guitar playing, and 1 flute anim.  Instruments are given to the sitters inventory.  The guitar is mesh, the flute is sculpty.  The stool is low lag scripted and only 1 land impact!  YAY!

Oh, a little while back I released The Weathered Wood Deck Set some deck furniture for petites too!  Super cute and low prim, loaded with animations too!  Available in a ton of weathered colors!

 

The Weathered Wood Deck set includes 2 copy chairs with 20 animations including unisex, male and female anims.  Each chair is copy and is only 1 Land Impact (LI)!  The little petite planter is also included (1LI), and 2 versions of the table (plain is shown) both with table drape (3LI) and without (1LI). The blue version I designed for my deck and yard :D.

Fall/ Winter Fashion Trends

I have recently been following real life fashion trends as they relate to second life a bit more closely... I have to admit that I wasn't a huge fan of the color blocking seen this spring and summer as I felt it lacked sleek lines.  Color blocking of the 1960s used black with vibrant colors resulting in smooth sleek lines which were complementary to almost any figure!  This spring brought out very vibrant colors mixed in bold geometric shapes.  I played with the idea in second life but couldn't bring myself to release any of my creations, as I was unsure it was 'me' and I wasn't sure how any of you would react to it.

So now Fall and Winter are creeping in on us in the Northern Hemisphere and changes are being seen in the fashion landscape.  Color blocking is still VERY much a part of the trends, but colors are much deeper and richer jewel tones, especially teal, blues, greens (in any shade) and rich reds like wine and ruby red. Oh, and some amethyst thrown in for good measure. Leather should be no surprise, seems like a bit of a staple for fall.  Though one could speculate that trend towards black on black with leather could be inspired by the movie release of 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" (Great book series by the way!).  Hemlines are short with high slits.  And... the surprise to me was lots of sheer see through fabrics... yes for fall. Of course we don't think twice about that in second life ;)

So with all of that in mind... I went back to playing with color blocking using some of my favorite colors, those deep rich jewel tones.  Then I went back and looked at the 60s color blocking style and couldn't help but love the sleek lines!  My intention once again was to have a dress that would suit my implant clientele, BosomMesh and Petites!  However, I found it more suited for Petites this go around.

Dance Fever!

Do you remember Dance Fever and Flash Dance?  Well that was the inspiration for this next outfit! I put together spandex leggings, a bandeau top and that essential off the shoulder cut up tee tied off to the side!  And here it is for Petites!

Love Me! Love My Shoes!

Shoes are Sexy!  They really are...nothing like a high heel stiletto, a pump, a platform to show of the curve of your legs... and so many fantasies seem to revolve around shoes, ok ... ok maybe only in my mind, and a few movies... but you know you love them, admit it ;).

A shoe can set the entire mood for an outfit, make you change your mind and ditch the outfit you had intended to wear.  I have lots of shoes in my second life inventory, 99% are for my biggie avatar and petites need more shoes!  So with that in mind I set to making a sexy strappy sandal especially for Petites Mesh Avatars! I wanted it to be versatile so I made it color change :).

 

The Petites Color Change Strappy Sandal is made of mesh and sculpt components and is scripted to resize, change skin tone, nail color and sandal strap/heel color.  The posibilities are endless. It also allows for shine and full bright! Important when your petite mesh avatar is full bright!

Little & Big Toy Soldiers

I got distracted... I was working on a gown and let my head wander... which is sometimes good... sometimes counterproductive...  This time I am pleased with the sweet results!  I started this outfit for Petites, then quickly adapted it to BosomMesh and Implants too because it was sooo much fun! I considered holding on to it till the holidays... but cute is always in style!

 

Petites Red Toy Soldier includes mesh clothing layer, sculpty riding boots, 

commanders hat, collar, epilates & sculpted sleeves (all copy, mod)  

 

Toy Soldier in Red to wear with and without implants, featuring Universal Implants (left) and the NEW Foxbean Christina implants (right) with that torpedo shape I love, but enhanced with a weightier look! I was pleased to see that the clothing layers still use the same texturing scheme and appliers, which have always been easy to work with!

Bloggers 'a Blogging

My new blogging friends have inspired me!  Not only to blog more, but to be super cute doing it! With that inspiration I created the Bloggers Rug... so far for Petites... but give me a few days and there will be a biggie version too!

The Bloggers Rug has some super fun animations to reflect your mood.  Imagine laying down gazing deep in thought ...'hmmm what to write?' or flipping through a magazine checking out all the best couture, photography and self help magazines... or take out that handy laptop (in PINK no less!) and start writing, with seven laptop animations to chose from how can you go wrong?

The sculpty rug is a bit faded from lots of use in a pretty teal and mauve pattern.  It is copy mod (allowing you to add your own rug patterns, the props auto rez when you chose an animation!

Stump Love continued!

I am so proud and tickled to announce that the Adult version of Stump Love (see previous feed) won the Petite Adult SeXXXpo big huge prize of 10,000L$... yep!  Really!! Support for it has been astounding and I am so pleased that it has been so well received!  Big thanks for Jez and Torty at Elysian Valley for all of their hard work on making this weeks events so awesome!  There are a ton of events still to come... make sure you stop by! Since not ALL petites are so naughty... SeXXXpo 2012 has Arrived!

I am so excited that Petite SeXXXpo 2012 is finally here after so much hard work... most of you know I have been a little quiet in the busty community and it is because of this fantastic event!

If you thought little tiny petites and pixies were all cutsey swirling fairy dust... well then you are mistaken!  Most are mischevious, flirtacious and a whole lot of naughty!  If you haven't gone petite yet then you don't know what you are missing!  LOL

So why am I so excited about SeXXXpo?  Well... first of all it is at Elysian Valley which is always jam packed with fun and naughtiness, great entertainment and pleasing surroundings. Secondly, because it brings together petite adult designers challenging them to create something new and original for the petite community!  Top that off with 10,000L$ in prizes to those designers and tons of prizes at the almost constant parties happening at this week long event!  Friday night the opening party kicked off with tons of prizes, gift cards and a 4000L$ prize split among the top party goers! Whao!  A big huge thanks to Jez Fallen the creator of Elysian Valley for his generosity!  And of course none of it could be done without the great DJs and the amazingly helpful and naughty Torty who manages things for Jez, instigates and somehow keeps us vendors in line. Oh and special mention to Fini (Finesse Firelyte) for spinning some of the sexiest music to be found on the airwaves for well over 5 hours... we begged her to keep going but I think we wore her out!  What stamina!

So I have to share my entry with all of you and of course some pictures too! The Love Stump contains over 100 anims is made of both mesh and sculpty components and has an extensive menu for cuddles, kisses, girl girl and female male sex as well as solo masturbation and mutual masturbation! Oh and fun props too including a flower dildo, a petites erotica book and a naughty magazine!  Hehe! One of my favorite things (besides the masturbations and sweet cuddles) is the new animations sytem by AVsitter!  NO pose balls yet animations can be synced!  YAY!

I should also be releasing the cuddles and kiss version soon (then I promise more clothes!)

It uses a modified version of my Magical Clothes script to turn on/off the selected cum layers, so the user doesn't have to go searching through his or her inventory to attach/detach seperate pieces all the time. Her building philosophy is to build things in second life that she herself would use, and if they have broad mass appeal then she releases them to the public. Generally when we think of plungling lines in apparel, we think of bust lines... and as much as I love a good plunging neck line, I also love a deep deep plunging back!  With this in mind I have added my Plunge Party Dress to my BosomMesh line up! I previously released it for petites with much success, but since I love this dress so much I HAD to make it available to my busty friends in some form... so here you have it!

Boobies Big & Lil!

Boobies!  Yes, I said it!  hehe... We all love them wether we are big or little... or at least we should!

I finally took the plunge and released a sexy little leather zip mini dress for not only Biggies (aka standard second life avatars) but also for Petites (those little adorable avies that are itty bitty) with implant appliers for both!  YAY!

This was a labor of love... love of leather, boobies and petites ;-P .  As many of you know I am a big fan of Lolas, and occassionally they are hard to texture for... this was one of those occassions, but I am very pleased with the results and I hope you are too!  Also featured in the pics (biggie version) is Universal Implants... which are growing on me... literally ;). hehe...

All Sizes & Shapes

After a long absence from blogging, I realized it was time that I jump back in!  But what topic? That was the question... sure I had plenty of new products to show... but although I was inspired to make the products (which I will feature in the future), I wasn't as inspired to write about them ;).

But tonight it occured to me! As in real life, we come in all sizes, shapes and colors. Those differences are what makes us beautiful and unique.

Part of the allure of second life is that we get to be any size, shape and color we desire.  We can be 8 feet tall, or itty bitty. We can be super skinny or rotund. And of course we can be our sci-fi fantasy or our favorite cuddly animal. It is truly up to us!

Real life shape and size though can have real life consequences, judgements, and emotions attached.  Without diving too deep into my opinions about this, let it suffice to say that big can be beautiful, as can small.  But in real life their can be health consequences for being obese, and they are very real, if not today then tomorrow.  So put down the mouse and step away from the computer ;). 

However, beauty is perceived. People can see themselves unrealistically (and this can go both ways) and others can have a completely different perception of them, sometimes good and sometimes bad.  Lately I have noticed people saying some very unfair things on the internet about other peoples bodies. Look at the tabloid like blogs... where everyone is anonymous. Tonight I came across this from one of my favorite youtube channels Sourcefed in which they discussed comments posted on a site called  Skinny Gossip  in which pictures of Kate Upton were discussed, saying that she was fat and compared her to a cow.  Think what you want of Kate Upton, she has boobage and is a hottie! The annonimity of the internet and this goes for second life as well, often leads to uncensored and often cruel remarks.  To quote the above video, Lee Neuton says, "we can have loose lips and rude words when we can hide behind the keyboard".

 So.... I say find your beauty within. If you don't like what you see then ask if your view is realistic, or just your own skewed perception. Most importantly, if you don't like it then look inside to see how you can change it!

In second life, we get to be who we want (which I think is where I was originally going with this post) and recently I have changed out of my tall voluptous, and yes busty shape for something itty bitty!  Those of you that know me well, know I don't change my avatar regularly. Unlike my girl Shay ;).  I had bought the Crystal petite avatar from Fallen Gods, quite some time ago and chose to be pink and glowy. I then put it away but recently pulled it back out as petites seem to be everywhere!  If you haven't seen them they are about 1/3 the size of a regular second life avatar and did I say uber cute!  Well now I own 3 versions including one that was custom skinned for me by Shayna Korobase of Spanked.  I am going to post some pics, just to show you how adorable!

HI! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Marrissa and I am a model for Gatherings. Stacia told me I could post a little blog... hope you all enjoy!

Being a model at Gatherings is a great job, with tons of perks! Lots of free clothing that I adore from a great designer. I have to admit that Stacia treats me sooo good! .... Perhaps a little tooo good....

Stacia was staging a little winter show for some friends, you know she loves a good Gathering ;). She told me to arrive early so we could rehearse. She had some dance numbers all llined up, kinda burlesque meets show girl. I was excited to see what numbers she had put together, she had shown me some great moves.... and had promised to show me more... and did she ever!

I would love to tell you all the steamy details... but perhaps pictures say it all. I am glad I was a little naughty this year, and Stacia was soooo nice!

She was incredibly encouraging and showed me just how to move to please the crowd ;)

New Adventures

Gosh! It has been almost a year since I have posted! Time has gotten away from me, but with it new adventures have arisen which I have taken full advantage of :). RL is crazy crazy busy... but I have finally graduated from medical school. These years have been amazing, stressful and enlightening! I think it gets a bit crazier from here, but a bit less busy!

My SL adventures have been amazing as well! My creations and skills have grown as I have ventured out to build what I want and enjoy MY second life... afterall here I have no one to answer to but me, and well maybe Shay and Frey... heehee! So in that vane I wanted to share some of the creations! Thanks in advance for your indulgence ;).

One of my most favorite creations! The Victorian Vampire Bed. Loaded with great vamp and intimate animations and it includes a Canopy that opens and closes (owner only).... oh and the canopy is color and texture change and has subtle lighting too!

In the same vain of vampiness I made a great settee, perfect for your study, den, vampy lair or castle! Tons of fabrics to choose from!

There is sooo much more furniture to share, but I will save that for another time... or better yet stop by and see for yourself!

I love fashion, and who doesn't. Secondlife allows us to create, share and express a different side of ourselves which is part of why I love my time in SL. I love sexy but elegant designs that perhaps shows just a little too much flesh, but still leaves a bit to the imagination! So with that in mind I created some great dresses and seperates.

Ok, so maybe this one bears alot! But Oh how I love it! I had to create a Phat Pak to share them all!

The Bandeau tube top is another Phat Pak that I keep returning to for casual wear, great textures in deep rich colors, perfect for the upcoming fall/winter season!

Well that's it for now... for several reasons. First I could go on and on sharing my creations. Secondly, the internet is being persnickity and not letting me upload anything else!
